teachers and students of the highest medical
and pharmaceutical educational institutions of Ukraine!
Sincerely I congratulate you on a wonderful holiday - Knowledge Day and the beginning of new academic year. Today opens the wide road to the professional future for thousand first-year students which chose a humane profession of the physician.
Now, our dear future colleagues, you join to more hundred-thousandth student's family of the higher medical school which has big historical traditions and world recognition.
I believe that the received knowledge will allow you to become excellent doctors, nurses, pharmacists.
Now our efforts are directed on full innovative development of the medical sphere, re-equipment of establishments of health care by the latest medical and diagnostic equipment, creation of a network of the modern perinatal centers and increase of prestige of work of physicians, improvement of social protection of medical workers, especially young specialists.
I express deep respect to the academicians, professors and assistant professors, and also all teachers who, undoubtedly, deserve sincere and highest gratitude of society.
To our future replacement that will hospitably open on September 1 the doors in educational audiences of colleges, academies and universities, I wish successes and creative inspiration, unforgettable impressions of student's life, to find good friends and to receive profound and thorough knowledge on a way to implementation of high aim - to keep health and to save lives of people!

| Day Melanoma |

 Day diagnosis of melanoma - is an annual event during which provides free reviews of everyone in terms of screening for melanoma - the most dangerous of skin tumors. Inspection conducted as part of the international project "Yevromelanoma" allows a simple and safe screening large numbers of people to detect melanomas at early stages and prevent skin cancer.

| Day of Medical Workers |

Day of Medical Workers celebrated annually on the third Sunday of June. On the occasion of a holiday on June 15, 2012 in the foyer of the Ivano-Frankivsk academic regional musical and drama theater named after Ivan Franko took place an exhibition where were presented embroideries, bead works, tree works of all medical institutions of the city and area.
Celebrations lasted in the IFNMU.The head of primary trade union organization of the regional oncologic dispensary Iryna Cherniak and chairman of the student's trade-union committee of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University Vasyl Miskiv laid flowers to Ivan Franko's monument. The holiday was opened by a folk amateur man's choir "Surma".
The vice-chairman of the Ivano-Frankivsk regional public administration Roman Ivanytskyi, the chairman of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council Oleksandr Sych, the chief of head department of health care of regional public administration Mykola Oliniichuk, the mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk Viktor Anushkevychus, rector of University prof. Rozhko M.M., the member of Presidium of Federation of trade unions of Ukraine, the chairman of the board of trade unions of area Ihor Basiuk, the chairman of the regional organization of trade union of workers of health care Natalia Byrchak congratulated the guests.
Staff of our university got rewards., namely: vice-rector of scientific, educational and medical work Fedorchenko V., professor of department of endocrinology Skrypnyk N., professor of a course of oncology Ipolit Kostinskyi, chairman of primary trade-union organization of the IFNMU Zaiaz L.
In the concert program participated student of the Ivano-Frankivsk base medical college Roshchuk S., winner of the international and all Ukraine festivals, doctor-therapist from city clinical hospital No.1 Boichuk V., folk collective of sporting-vaudeville dance"Art." |
